BEIRUT: Displaced Palestinian refugees from Yarmouk in Syria held a protest Friday in solidarity with the besieged camp, which is suffering from severe shortages of food and medicine and where dozens have already died of hunger. The demonstration was held at the Shatila roundabout just south of Beirut. Protesters held banners with messages such as “The living are not heard, let us listen to the dead,” and “We’re cold, we’re hungry, and we want to go back to Palestine.”
