The Special Tribunal for Lebanon has served since 2005, aiming to hold trials of those accused of killing Rafiq Hariri and more than 20 other victims. Prime Minister Najib Mikati said, on Tuesday, that the STL defense office should be given the time they need to fulfill its tasks so that the Tribunal's work would be objective. Head of the STL defense office, Francois Roux, expressed his relief for the Lebanese political and judicial authorities' cooperation.
