Military Investigative Judge Imad Zein issued formal arrest warrants Wednesday against two Syrians, S.D. and S.A, on suspicion of belonging to Al-Qaeda, judicial sources told The Daily Star.
The two men are alleged to have been transporting explosive material into Lebanon and contacting a third Al-Qaeda operative living in the Sidon Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh.
The sources said Zein also issued search warrants for their accomplices, who were working to prepare explosive devices to be used in Syria.
