A man was discovered dead and partially buried Sunday near the seashore in the Chouf district, a local television station reported.
The victim identified as Haitham Shmaysani was reported missing from the fuel station he owns in the southern city of Sarafand five days ago.
Police said that they found Shmaysani partially buried under the sand near the shore of Naameh.
Following an initial examination of the body, police said that Shmaysani was killed the day he was kidnapped.The body was transported to Al-Hajj hospital and an investigation was launched into the incident.
