The Lebanese army on Tuesday foiled an attempt to kidnap a member of the Breidi family in the Beqaa town of Arsal, the National News Agency reported.
The army pursued the assailants all the way from the town of Tall al-Abyad to the town of Youneen along the northern Beqaa road, the report added.
The report also noted that the army deployed between the entrance of the city of Baalbek and the town of Labwe in North Beqaa.
