BEIRUT: Unidentified gunmen kidnapped a Lebanese national Tuesday in Baalbek, east Lebanon, security sources told The Daily Star.
Naji Mukh, a Lebanese national who was in the country on a visit, was taken from his car in Majdalyoun, Baalbek, the sources said.
The kidnappers intercepted Mukh’s Opel in two Jeep Cherokees, they said.
Mukh was likely taken in the hope for a ransom, the sources added.
