The body of a 46-year-old Lebanese man who died in Israel was returned Monday to his family in the village of Jdeidet Marjayoun, south Lebanon, the National News Agency reported.
Fouad Elias Abou Mrad’s body was handed to his family by the Lebanese Red Cross.
Abou Mrad entered Israel following the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the country in 2000.
The Red Cross has repatriated the bodies of several Lebanese who have in Israel.
Late December, the remains of a 48-year-old Lebanese man were returned to his family in the southern village of Rashaya al-Fakhar.
