BEIRUT: An Iraqi-Lebanese man who was kidnapped in Mansourieh last week was released Friday, a security source told The Daily Star.
Wafer Bahnam told police in his preliminary testimony that he was released without a ransom, the source said. He was released near the Nahr al-Mot area.
Bahnam was kidnapped on Oct. 10 in Mansourieh and the kidnappers contacted his family for a $1milion ransom.
