BEIRUT – Military Court Judge Fadi Sawwan on Tuesday called for handing the death sentence to two people who planted the car found laden with explosives that was dismantled in Beirut’s Dahiyeh on October 14.
The National News Agency identified the assailants as M.N.A, a minor who was arrested on October 28, and Turkish national Mohammad Sobh Ozemir, who was arrested on October 25.
Sawwan also requested the death sentence for seven other people involved in other crimes.
The judge issued arrest warrants against them and referred the case to the military tribunal.
